Store

Denver Diamonds & Jewelry are delighted to have returned to our roots, reopening our store in the historic University Building in Downtown Denver where we first set up shop in 1976. This vintage corner suite on the 4th floor offers our customers an intimate space to discuss custom designs, choose the perfect engagement set or select a memorable gift. We accept all major credit cards and are happy to discuss financing options. Be sure to talk with us about appraising and insuring your investments as well.

Our Talent

JOHN Buchholz – Graduate Gemologist

John Buchholz holds an American School of Diamond Cutting Journeyman’s diploma and is a Gemological Institute of America Graduate Gemologist – now with over 40 years experience in the diamond and jewelry industry. John Christian Buchholz is the only diamond cutter and graduate gemologist G.I.A. in the state of Colorado. John began his career in 1976 with an office in downtown Denver, Colorado. Initially John’s business was exclusive to wholesale diamond cutting and repair. In the early 1980’s he opened a small retail space and began selling to the public. During his career, John has traveled to South America and Africa to source rough diamonds and was involved as a consultant on the diamond find in Fort Collins, Colorado at Kelsey Lake. Today our new and returning clients will find Denver Diamonds & Jewelry in the University Building located at 910 16th Street, Suite 425 in Downtown Denver, Colorado.

VICKIE Zwiers – Diamond Specialist

Vickie Zwiers is certified in G.I.A. Diamond Grading, Gem Identification, and Counter Sketching. Vickie has been sharing her expertise with clients since 1976, following the start of her career with independent jewelers in the Denver metro area. Vickie joined Denver Diamonds & Jewelry in 1995, bringing her custom jewelry design skills to our new and long-standing clients.
